When I come out to fit a new boiler, I don’t just take the old one off the wall and stick a new one in its place. I like to walk around for a minute and get a feel for the setup — the pipework, the pressure, little things that tell me how the system’s been treated over the years. Places around Stratford, Ilford and Barking all have their own odd quirks, and you only really spot them after years of climbing into boiler cupboards. Once I’ve seen what’s what, I’ll tell you honestly what I’d choose if it were my own home. No sales talk — just a boiler that heats properly and doesn’t leave you stressing every winter.
